Noisy Combustion On Truma C3402

We had a trip away to the British Grand Prix recently and all was well with the Truma unit, until we parked up for the day at the circuit and decided to make breakfast and put the water on for the washing up.

The burner fan started as normal but when the solenoid operated to supply the burner with gas all that happened was a low rumbling coming from the boiler. Couldn't be bothered with the thing for the rest of the trip but got to it yesterday morning. Dead easy to see what the problem was. On the boiler end of the balanced flue the outer pipe had become disconnected, probably due to a rattly, mile long drive into the circuit on an estate access road. Reconnected with a more meaty jubilee clip and all is well again. Also took the opportunity to check the inner connection was sound.

Hope this may help someone.

Cheers
