Not a happy camper

Popped down to do a bit of fishing today near alicante airport when we got there we saw an English reg motorhome parked up and the owner and his wife were sitting outside round a open fire so I walk over and told them that there is someone in the flats that calls the police when they see a motorhome parked up, there is a sign just before you enter the car park showing no motorhomes no overnight parking, he as good as told us to Pee of so we walked away. After about an hour and getting nothing we called it a day and went back to the car, the driver from the motorhome came over with a form in his hand and ask if I can translate it so I gave it to my Spanish mate to do it. it was a fine for parking 80 euros and a 80 euro fine for lighting a fire on a public beach the man screwed it up and put it in the bin my friend told him that now if not paid in a bank within 7 days the fine will double.

This arrogant attitude of parking anywhere I like and doing exactly as I wish really p....s me off ,not only does it give us all a bad name but it gradually makes it more and more difficult to find quiet camping spots. I can’t help it but hope his fine is doubled.

I detest wheel clamping ... But in this case the offender would have no choice but to pay-up and "go away" (to put it politely)

PS it is private company wheel clamping franchises which is the problem..just mafia type extortion (in some cases)

Here now the police have there own clamping unit it is no longer private company

Wheel clamping is not the answer for people like that

The vehicle needs towing away and crushing, that`ll teach the arrogant barstewards a lesson
