Not welcome in Brighton

The article in the Sun paper says it all, was also on our local BBC news: The Sun

The vehicles were legally parked but this could give rise to copy cat attacks in other areas of Brighton, so be careful.

Well we've been warned .
Perhaps it's best to drive past Brighton.

Can't think of any reason to visit Brighton. The problem I see is that it may give people in areas or towns I would visit the idea to follow suit.

Regards,
Del

Thank you for the warning Jenrai. I live about 40 minutes away from Brighton and have taken the van down for the day in the past... never again!

I'm not condoning the vandalism at all but it's hardly surprising people get upset when vans stay for months on end. I wonder if any of them actually belong to local residents, despite what the article said? Not everyone has a driveway after all.

The comments below the article made me really cross... typical narrow-minded attitude without any real thought. I couldn't resist adding a (rather wordy) comment of my own. Every little bit helps :devilish:

I stopped reading the Sun back in the 70’s when they wrote a sensationalistic article about motorbikes. I wouldn’t even believe the date they publish without checking elsewhere. I don’t like to group people into boxes so will not say what I think ha ha

Good article Jennie but I couldn’t like without joining which I won’t do ?

Excellent Jennie.

Nice to hear the voice of reason amongst the keyboard warriors.
