One for the Scots

Have any of you tried the utility kilts? You can get them in canvas, denim, camouflaged and other finishes rather than plaid. They have pockets and supposed to more of an everyday wear but thought I would ask for some opinions before doing anything.

I am finding some of the pleats may need pressing the lightweight 8 metre kilt I got in Fort William so maybe not meant as ever day wear?
