Our Rally Organisers...

April is the beginning of this year's rally season with our Annual Rally at Hereford Rowing Club. I want to take this opportunity to thank our Rally Organisers and their helpers for all they do.

Our rallies are not for profit, which means our Rally Organisers are unpaid, and they do not get expenses for their fuel or other costs. There are many unseen hours of preparation, site visits and managing the forum threads that members do not to see. Yet they are sometimes disrespected by members who seem to think they are their servants. This year I have asked the Rally Organisers to ask any member that causes issues to leave the rally, and I will ban them from attending future rallies.

Sincere thanks to all the rally organisers, helpers and of course you Phil for ensuring that we are able to enjoy the rallies in safety and compliance with the various site and insurance regs. As for anyone abusing members of the team I am surprised and dismayed to learn that anyone would do that.
