I just wondered is this organised or is way over the top my little box file.

Perfect Annie it’s something we always do, can I suggest you also take photo copies of debit/ credit cards and put them in here, if a card is stolen it’s easier to phone to get them cancelled if you’ve got a duplicate with card numbers phone numbers etc,
Also take pictures of all these documents on your phone if the vans stolen or your box gets stolen you’re got something to help, enjoy your trip it’ll be quiet in uk without ya ?

Something worth doing maybe - cover the info on the photos of the cards or whatver that is not needed to cancel but can be used by thieves if the actual document file is stolen!
so blank out the CVV number on the back and maybe expiry date on the front of any photos of cards?

But I agree with others ... not OTT but VSP (Very Sensible Precaution)

must remember to do some of this forward planning lark , ooops to late on my way home now, seriously i have a safe secreted within my van containing cash reserve passports & copies of ins & veh docs , i carry oldpassport & wallet with cancelled credit cards with some serious looking kenyan & gambian currency about 70Ps worth in my dash box,
but like home you only park somewhere you both feel comfortable it’s nothing to move away from dodgy areas

That's how I would like to think I would organise for a big trip.
I may be flighty in some ways but I have an obsession about labelling and organising my cupboards.....oh and now I have just given too much away ?

Much better to be organised than be left thinking, " if only I had a copy of....."
I always have a folder also a file in the cloud!

I'm impressed - very organised! Our travel docs etc are stowed away with photocopies in the folder in the dashboard . We also have copies in the Cloud.
