Many congratulations to you both. 54 years is a real achievement in this day and age.

A few days ago we celebrated our 50th and back in October last year I didn't think we'd make it. But it seems she's a tough lady. Soon she'll be well enough to travel again.

Like everything (bar one) I am always last to get there... PaulJenny, very many congrats. Great achievement and not something I think will be seen much in the future, especially on a first try! It will be our 52nd in July. My sister has just lost her husband after 58 years. My brother died a year ago after 56 years. My sister and her hubby are on 54 years, going on 55!
