Possibly the end of the EV car?

Well, EV cars have been around a long time, after all. In fact, I have a feeling the first electric cars were produced BEFORE the first petrol or diesel cars?

Yes over a hundred years ago Jay Leno has one of them and is bringing it up to date with modern batteries and running gear, it even has a radio and USB/Bluetooth in it, still not finished though.

I have always said Hydrogen is the way to go, EV is ok but limited, Hydrogen is proven to work in a IC engine JCB is bringing it up to date and others will jump on the bandwagon as it progresses, I'd be moving my shares from Tesla into whomever is making the biggest inroads into Hydrogen production as it's going to be the new oil company equivalent.

I have always thought hydrogen was the way to go but that doesn’t mean an end to EV’s. There is still good application in city’s for electric vehicles.

Maybe not yet, but filling times and range will be the one that wins big overall.

Aberdeenshire Council has had a fleet of hydrogen powered cars since 2019 and they’re still running them (car park warden turned up in one of them yesterday in Banchory!). First Bus Aberdeen has a fleet of hydrogen buses running since 2021 in parallel with their electric fleet. We are also lucky enough (if you have a hydrogen powered car!) to have two hydrogen filling stations in Aberdeen, which must constitute about 50% of UK hydrogen filling stations!!

15 now according to Google.

Hydrogen still being developed, prefer more of the IC type but it'll come soon enough.

What makes you say that,?
