I'm not that impressed, when we were up in Scotland in June we were woken up by a truck idling next to us, I could only see the cab and didn't know what it was doing but after about 30 minutes they put a man with a brolly signs out and got the stop go signs out and the truck started work, it stripped cleaned and resurfaced the road all in one go, made a very neat job and fairly quickly too, they did all these & more repairs in less than half an hour, the white van was local and was just supplying road safety quick and efficient.

I watch them here, stand looking at it to first break, fags and mobiles out, the the bose arrives in a car, he has a look, then one chap sprays a can of white linning paint round it, truck full of med drive off, 3 mths later if lucky they turn up again and do the same, then one man starts to dig with a pick, to much hard work, back on mobile, after dinner a truck with a mini digger turns up, after some pointing and looking he starts to dig.
Now its clossing on 4.30 so digger back on truck and another truck arrives with some baracades and puts them round the small hole with a warning sign.
Next day truck arrives and same crap to about 10.30 before they start, ok hole dug and lucky no power or gas pipes wrecked.
After dinner the tar truck arrives and in goes the black stuff, all patted down and level so of they go as its quitting time.
About 3 weeks later a chap comes out to inspect then fooks off, a few weeks later the truck comes back for the safty rails & warning signs.
Thing im joking, about 5/6 holes outside my gate for 5/6 mths and only 2 sorted so far, the paint markings at my gate are now fadding so looks like they will have to go over the above again, then folk wonder where our taxes go.
