Prescribed medication when travelling abroad

Last time I asked I got the prescription changed to double the amount as a one off, and then got a double dispense to allow for holiday. Thus getting 4 months worth at once.

Could a family member collect and bring them out on the promise of a couple of nights abroad?? Somewhere loads of cheap flights like Alicante or Faro?? I must admit we always get meds every four weeks and manage to stockpile a small surplus that way. Also have asked for a months px a bit early due to being away when due....extra couple of weeks that way!
That’s not a good idea as they could be charged with trafficking controlled drugs as happened to that woman from Hull last year in Egypt. It has to be your prescribed drugs

The woman from hull gave drugs prescribed for her, to someone else.
I would have thought that a family member taking prescribed tablets to the person they are prescribed for, is on a different basis from getting them for someone else? I suppose if letter from the patient requesting and giving permission for them to be collected could also be given. I don't think they are illegal in Spain or Portugal??

Not sure Rec, I suppose if you checked and got the paperwork it may be okay. It because they are controlled drugs though.
