RAINEX———DOES WHAT THE CAN SAYS

I use Rainex from the bottle not the spray, on my glasses. I go orienteering and was on the point of giving up in the rain as I could not read the detailed maps we use. Rainex sorted that and now I have no problem from water covered lens' and very little misting up. Great Stuff. One bottle lasts a lifetime with glasses!

Hi, Interesting comments - what about plastics? I have a rear view camera in my bathroom (rear) window - to keep an eye on the trailer - which is nie on useless when it rains, it would be very useful if it does not damage plastic !

My glasses are plastic! Special half glasses with the top cut out leaving just a very narrow lens area at the bottom. This allows you to see forward normally, but enables you to see through the lens when you look down at the map. No problems so far after several years use and I would have thought a camera lens was a similar type of plastic to glasses, but there are many different plastics, so could not guarantee its safe.
