Getting really frustrated with the build quality and lack of information on my Swift Escape 684. Purchased last year new.
So, the van has been back to the dealer twice to fix faulty reverse camera monitor, dodgey locks and other things.
Some they failed to address like a horrendous squeaking from the over head shelf area in the cab and the sunroof that kept coming open above 60mph.
So far I've had to fix the over cab sunroof/window by removing and packing out the catches, address various rattles and re-fix the supports for the panel over the heater unit that fell off.
Why does everything rattle so much and why is the manual so poor? I've built 5 campervans myself in the past and while they may have looked a bit 'rectangular' none of them rattled and squeaked like this one.
My latest condundrum is making up the front bed. Nowhere is this documented - oh sure the manual shows you how to arrange the cushions but nowhere does it tell you how to get the table to stay down(!) and how to arrange the flaps and panels that form the base. I got as far as the picture below but to me there is a piece missing! BUT, even if I had that piece there is no obvious proper support for it. Anyone know if there is a bit missing or if I'm missing a trick? - Thanks

There are a couple of Swift owners clubs who might be able to help you find the source of squeaks, rattles etc? Unfortunately the build quality of many motorhomes is pretty poor especially when compared with well converted self build. Hope the many little irritations get sorted, so you can enjoy your van.

We had a new swift and it was like a game of Tetras to make the bed up. Once you get it take a photo. Think I made bed the up twice using same sequence. As for the rattling get some small round stick on fetl tabs and use on cupboards and drawers take any trays or loose stuff from oven and cooker they seem to make the most rattles. You will eliminate the noise through trail and error.
 
On a lot of vans we had we found if you used the catches on the upper lockers they would rattle, so we stopped using them and the rattles stopped and we have not lost anything out of them on any of the vans since then

I'd certainly check this out - lots of threads on tyre pressures.
If you know actual axle loads you can get something sensible in terms of pressures.
Always a good idea to know axle loads because it's very easy to overload them particularly the rear.

I have a fairly ancient Bessacarr and it's pretty good for rattles - I put this down to the solid build of the time, a certain amount of effort in packing and using appropriate tyres pressures.
I also think that having an air assisted Alko rear axle helps.

No, it’s not tyre pressures
You can hear several squeaks just by pressing on the units but you can’t get to the part that’s sqeaking
There are other things too such as window catches that don’t grip because they have been positioned badly
