Rechargeable AA and AAA batteries

If you need batteries here's an interesting option.
I recently bought some IKEA LADDA rechargeable AA (2450mAh) and AAA (900 mAh) batteries.
Very good value at £5.50 and £4 for a pack of 4 respectively. I also bought their little USB charger for £2.
I wasn't expecting a lot but I had read good things about them.

Being a geek, I subjected them to some proper testing and was very pleasantly surprised.
The AA batteries performed very similarly to the Eneloop ones I have which are generally acknowledged to be some of the best available (and twice the price).
Charging in a van is a bit tricky unless you have a sine inverter. So I also measured how well the £2 USB charger worked - extraordinary. A full charge, detected the endpoint and stopped correctly. Really could not fault them in any way. They're now in the van for the autumn/winter trip
It'll keep the toothbrush going....!
