Removing a Gas grill

A REALLY VERY BAD IDEA, best to just cap it off properly.

I have come across 10mm pipe but 8mm is most common.
No it isn’t, you shouldn’t leave dead ends with gas. Pipe should be disconnected and blanked at the manifold. The disconnected pipe can be left in place in case it’s ever wanted to reconnect 👍

I agree but he didn't say that Neil.

He only said "Take the pipe out back to the manifold" no mention of blanking off if you did as he put it, then anyone could just turn the gas on again even accidentally, so I stand by my comment.
