I have to say that I’m very impressed by Renault’s customer service. Today I got a letter from them describing how to update my Carminat Tom Tom built into my van. As it happens I’ve already done the update which keeps it working after April 6th, but full marks to Renault for sending the information to the owner of a van built 8 years ago.
I have had very few problems with the vehicle, but Renault were also excellent when it came to fulfilling their warranty obligations.
It’s very stange that they are closely linked to Nissan, who I have found have appalling customer service.
I have also in the past dealt with Fiat. Better not to say how I found them.
