Sad news to report,I was in conversation with Eric today and was saddened by his news his good lady the lovely Christine had passed away on Sept 14th after the last year of various illnesses. He did say her dementia had also got very much worse,I asked Eric and he gave me permission to let you all know about her passing
He has sold the motorhome but will be remaining on the forums as he has many friends on the forums
Christine will be laid to rest tomorrow so our thoughts will be with Eric and his family

i remember christine as a show dog judge commenting on molly recognising the breed etc such a lovely woman was shocked at the devastation the terrible condition had taken from her

I too didn't know Christine personally either and am also sorry for your loss. Hope all goes well tomorrow and the future.

We met Eric and Christine at the Stafford Rally in 2022 and spent a lot of time learning about Burstner Motorhomes, trips to Scandinavia, dogs, and other topics.Happy memories and enormous sadness at Christine's passing. Our heartfelt condolences, Eric.

As many others on here, I didn't know Christine. But if family passes on, other family grieve. R.I.P. Christine.

Oh Eric, so sad. I’ll always remember you both as great company.
As you have sold the van, I’ll miss your advice. Invaluable.

Thank you to all who have offered their sympathy and condolences, Christine had been deteriorating over the last twelve months but this last episode took me by surprise, she had a bowel problem which had her in hospital for a fortnight to be followed by more. bowel problems and major blood clots which deadened her right leg. There wasn’t a viable solution so she was placed in palliative care and expired on the 24th September. Her funeral was yesterday and now at peace
