Hi folks, I wonder if members would be able to help me out I am unfortunately having to sell my Motorhome and wanted a bit of advice as to how much you thought I would be able to sell it for.
I have owned it for almost 3 years.
I paid £65000 and I have added over £5000 pounds of upgrades.
It is a Hymer ML i 580. It’s an A class Motorhome built on the Mercedes sprinter chassis. It has the Mercedes 2.2 L diesel engine with an automatic six speed gearbox.
It has now covered just over 29,200 miles.
It is a four berth. With four seatbelt seats.
This is a left-hand drive model so great for travelling through Europe it has up rated air suspension, (4200KG )which gives it a huge payload.
Under 7metres long (ferry companies class it as a Small MH)
It has a rear garage with a motorcycle ramp. It easily takes My Honda 125 scooter.
It has two single beds at the rear over the garage and a double motorised drop-down bed in the cab area.
It has a gas fired Truma combination boiler supplying hot water and warm air heating.
It has a three ring gas hob and a full height Thetford three-way fridge with a freezer section. There is a separate shower, basin and bench toilet with electric flush and large Cassette.
It has 110 L freshwater tank and 100 L grey water tank.
It has a two tank Gaslow LPG system with external refillable connector.
On the roof there are three large solar panels given a total of 750 W output into two Victron MPPT controllers which feed a 300ah Fogstar drift lithium battery. There is a Victron multiplus 1600W inverter supplying the 240 V Sockets in the MH there is a Victron XS B2B battery charger which adds about 50a to The battery while driving.
I fitted a Netgear Nighthawk router to give Wi-Fi inside the Motorhome
It has twin reversing cameras and a dash cam .
I have fitted a blink outdoor security system with three cameras.
It has a scorpion tracker system and a Sigma alarm.
It has a Tyre pal tyre pressure monitoring system.
On the outside. There is a full length Thule Omnistore awning which comes with three detachable side panels and aluminium supports to create an outside room.
External gas barbecue point.
A fiamma rear mounted bike rack for two bikes.
It had the major Mercedes service June last year (over £650).
The MOT is due on 5th July…So I will get it renewed after the 6th June so it will come with over 12 months MOT.
I would be really grateful for any feedback on price and best way to sell.
Thanks in advance. Ray
