Hi all.
What is the best way of removing old silicon from the side of a m.h. without damaging the paint.Somebody in the past has removed the awning and left an unsightly couple of lines of silicone that look horrible.

Don't know about removing silicon but my wife pays a fortune to have it put in.

I pull off the worst of it then rub the remainder with my thumb, usually gets it all off.

Thanks everyone for your response. I will try acetone if I can get some locally the problem In using a scraper or razor is the surface is not smooth but dimmpled.

Nothing wrong with silicon remover but it is not always obtainable where I live and they will not post it.

Surely acetone will damage paint?
