I don’t like the old pylons, the wind farms are much nicer looking. The new T pylons are an improvement. However if we do nothing about global warming perhaps the Glens will spoilt anyway.

I remember a succession of interviews on the BBC News with residents of the Lake District up in arms about the planned erection of Wind Turbines spoiling their views/landscape etc. Not one person mentioned the spewing three Power Station Towers around Birmingham that were enabling the idyllic landscape to be maintained. If we're serious about dealing with the Climate Crisis, NIMBYISM and brown envelope lobbying for Classic Cars/Showmen's Vehicles/Log Burners et al need to be outlawed

It'll all end in tears

Talking of classic cars, I was up at my mates garage, he is a trained RR & Bentley specialist, there was a cracking early 50’s Bentley special in for repair, I had to take a pic of this sticker on rear of car.

We've got a 12.7Kw version in France, Terry, installed before the carcinogens problem was identified! To hide behind the Climate Warming protection/Clean Air Banner whilst granting exemptions/exceptions to a variety of vested interests for Fairground Lorries, historical vehicles, log burners etc is hypocrisy personified. A 1967 ERF [parked opposite us, about 60m away, with a bloody great diesel generator on the lorry bed is allowed into Glasgow, whereas my 2016 Euro 5 diesel Motorhome isn't, is stupid, corrupt and makes a total mockery of the Clean Air Agenda
