snowbirds 26

Ken's right, it's a Coypu. The last one I saw swimming beside my camper was at Les Andelys, where we occasionally stayed at Camping l''lle des Trois Rois beside the Seine. You've got to be quiet to see them.

first one i ever saw we were blackberring near a friends house by lucon saw this length of rope about 6 ft and an inch thick 6ft away was this huge beast although supposedly vegitarian neither my dog or i wanted to dispute its ground

We stayed in decent enough aire in Figueira da Foz last night. (Sectioned area of a large car park, Motorhome services, free overnight, and 1 - 8€ through the day depending on when you arrive/leave.) We had travelled from Peniche trying to hug the coast as much as possible. We couldn’t believe the devastation to the woodland plantations between Nazaré and IMG_3325.jpegFigueira from the storms earlier in the year. Whole sections were just snapped trees. On the outskirts of Nazaré two campsites were badly damaged and won’t be opening anytime soon. It’s one thing reading about it but it must have been really challenging for people living there or travelling in Motorhomes in the area. We thought we had it bad in the North East Scotland a couple of years ago but this was really was something else.
