If you write labels to remind yourself what's in each bottle, Neil, you can use text big enough for failing eyes to read; but that can lead to another problem if the letters need to be too big for the space. You can get "gauze" bags for 30pin veg section of supermarket with pull strings that fit easily over tap, notch, wrist or whatever. Easily seen, drains, strong. Cheap and effective.
