Well 2days of fitting Solar and roof repairs,
Only messy part was when Sikaflex fell & broke
Yes it's a custom made roof box yes it's reflective (when clean)
Fitted with 50mm angle , but the front angle is only so when driving wind won't lift or damage panel .
Latter adding shocks for tilt .
Thanks for reading my 2 days of trying to stay active .

I would be concerned the box would be casting a shadow onto the panel reference photo 2, especially winter, spring & autumn when the sun is low in the sky. Potentially it could drastically reduce the panel output.

I have shocks coming for the panel , the box is very shinny, and can increase voltage when parked in a South facing place as it is now, at 5pm I was getting 36.2 volts DC

A valid point there.
On the plus side, when the van is positioned in the right angle, that shiny box could be reflecting light ONTO the panel and boost the performance :)

do you mean increase voltage? that panel looks like it is a 12V panel, so would have a maximum voltage output of around 23V.

Times like this I should check what my fat fingers type lol 21.3 was the DC sorry
