What spray do people use instead of pressing the flush button after use.

No solids in our cassette.

I have a 2ltr + 1.5 Ltr empty Bio Washing Liquid container that I fill with freshwater. Useful for bowl rinsing and also for taking across to the Black waste point to help with diluting/cleansing on emptying without leaving 1/2 of the cassette contents around the tap ...

Can I ask why folks don't use the flush button? Is it to reduce the filling up of the cassette thereby stretching it out for longer periods before having to empty?

We do, but the 1.5Ltr bottle is useful for any heavier items ... Our flush feeds from the freshwater tank, which can put pressure on supplies if off grid. We were on 2 aires in succession, the first with no facilities [but a beautiful view over the lake!], the 2nd with a cassette emptying but very limited flushing water. Then we saw 2 French couples wander over to the stream and collect several buckets of water for the cassette and for the shower, and this enabled us to stay for 4 days on a shaded pitch during the heatwave ;) .

We're learning all the time!

Saves water too, and if scented make the loo smell more better, I haven't used a van loo for over ten years.

I use the pink stuff diluted , sticky lumps get a blast from the shower and a wak with toilet brush
