SPUSU Mobile

They have various addons that have EU roaming but I've not looked at the details.
I got caught by RWG who changed supplier in August while I was away they cancelled my SIM and sent a new one to my home address which was not helpful. I tried ringing and e mailing and got no reply so I cancelled my contract and got a call the next day to find out why. I replaced it whilst away with an unlimited Smart SIM which is cheaper for unlimited but have found the signal poor in general so will try 1p mobile. I need at least 200gb per month.

That's odd. We have a good half dozen sims active on RWG, all on EE. They continue to work the same as they ever have. There has been no mention of a change of supplier.

I don't know there was a new SIM waiting at home. I had been with them for at least 2 years.

Well, I finally went with RWG. It's been a mixed experience so far: took about a fortnight to actually get the SIM delivered (they sent an eSIM first, that I didn't order) then took a further 10 days or so to get it working in my router. As people have said, customer service is very hit and miss, but they eventually changed some settings on the SIM and I'm hoping for plain sailing from now. Just hoping it will continue just as well when it goes roaming next month.

What are their conditions for roaming on EE. Can you get 90 days twice a year without limitations? Most others seem difficuyafter 63 days, but I’ve not found RWGs terms yet.

My phone SIm is from STFU Mobile. All calls are cut off after 1 minute, texts are deleted before you get a chance to read them and it won't connect to any social media.

Never been happier.

I was assured before buying the 20Gb monthly package that I would get the full amount for 90 days in EU. I assume that the same would apply for another trip, as long as you were using it in a comparable way in the UK.

RWG have a sales push on just now, and have employed more support staff apparently. They have a 20% off code RWG20, that reduces all monthly SIM payments for as long as you keep the SIM in use.

I’m a bit late to the party here, but I use 1p mobile. They use EE. I went with them because apart from EE they’re one of the few that doesn’t seem to throttle down on speeds so I find it amazingly quick. I use the sim in my phone and tether it to my laptop. Free calls and texts, 100gb data for £15 a month. Maybe worth a look if things don’t work out.

14Gb data per month limit in Europe. Wouldn’t work for me.

jan’s getting a new nearly new i pad pro 12.9” screen for christmas to use as a tv in the van it has a sim slot so i’ve gone tesco 100gb for £15 it’s on O2 and you can use all the data in europe ? i’ll wait & see on that but on two i pads & 2 i phones we will have 185 gb while travelling in theory , that is the fair usage restrictions on the 405 gb i actually pay for (fair to who is the question )
