Summer clothes

Just posted on Wildcamping and it prompted questions:
How many people have finally gone to their wardrobes to get out summer clothes? How many people are sure that those very clothes fitted last year?
And how many people are in 2 minds about getting rid of those clothes that refuse to fit as they did before?

I have 2 seasons: 'summer' and 'too cold for summer'

'Summer' usually starts in the UK for me at the end of March when I change into shorts and T shirts. This last unto; the start of November.*

'Too cold for summer' starts in November with polo shorts and jeans indoors and then upgrades to a rugby jersey outside or indoors if really cold.


* The only caveat to this is that we go to Spain for 2 months across Jan - March so the T shirts and shorts are out by mid Jan when we are there but then I usually have a few weeks back home in jeans until the end of March.

The T shirts fit fine but the shorts can get rather snug towards the end of a 2 month trip...or indeed any trip if I'm doing it right!

Right now it is too warm for Scottish summer clothes so have to go without!

Don't do that! According to a local free style magazine here they are the new must haves

Here in Yorkshire we wear the same clothes all year round we just add a cardigan in winter.

I wear jogging bottoms t shirt all yoy round, shorts if hot along with sandels, i wear all my duds untill holes apear and then use them in the w shop, men dont waste stuff like the girls do or bin them as my sister did if she wore stuff once.

Shorts, T shirt and rigger boots or flipflops if not in the workshop all year round dungarees if chilly.
