Tefal ingenio

Anyone out there use these in the vans? Im thinking of useing these in our van for a space saver they can be put in the fridge with the plastic lids provided and the handles are detachable

We have had these for a couple of years now. We have a set of lids and plastic lids, did get an extra handle "just in case" but have not used it.

We would thoroughly recommend them.

Yes, we bought a set of Tefal Ingenio pans and a frying pan a few month ago as we found it a pain with a myriad of pan handles taking up room in the cupboard plus we find it safer in a confined space around the hob not to have pan handle that you can get caught on as you move around.

I have read that the frying pan can be troublesome because the flame can burn the handle but as we don't have the frying pan I can't confirm this, it may be worth watching when you use the frying pan

10 years on and still working fine, not burnt the handle on the frying pan yet but then dont tend to leave the handle on when cooking as the handle is heavy and can tip the pan if not a lot in it.
Non stick still in place too

Very tempted to buy. What is people’s experience of the essentials set or the slightly more expensive Enamel version?

We got the black set of pans and lids about 5 yrs ago (We did buy another handle as a spare but it is still in the pack) and they are still going strong. We use the original card packing between each pan when travelling. Love them...

They look great but I am not sure I do enough serious cooking to warrant buying them for the van but may get them for home use, yes I know I’m not home that often but they will look nice in the cupboards. ?

Mad as a box of frogs.

Purchased today. So late back no chance yet to rearrange my pan drawer or try them out. Temptation is keep the ones they are replacing ... just in case!

Swindon outlet centre £114 for the Essentials 13 piece set. Only extra purchase was a lid for the steamer basket £5.

Heavier than I expected, but my justification for their place on board is that I do cook.

Thank you for the recommendations.

Just need to stop J washing up with the metal scourer!!!,

we have them at home but too heavy for me camping...specially bigger ones...

oops, just remembered ours are for induction hob so maybe heavier.....

They are. I handled all three versions in the Swindon store.

I’m enjoying cooking with them. Taking the handle on and off is taking a bit of getting used to.

I have these pans as my main cooking pans at home.
The non stick version - highly recommend.
I do remove the handle when cooking and re attach when needed.
