Temperature sensor switch for 1997 Ducato 1.9td

If it cuts in at 115c it won't be for the fan, 115c is pretty overheated. Is it not an overheat warning sensor?? To be honest though at that temperature the damage would already be done, most vehicles run at around 80-90 degrees.

Could well be. I don’t remember what I bought it for, although we did have some cooling problems which turned out to be caused by the fan control relays arcing and sticking.

Cheers

Sounds like this is the sender for the temp gauge, usually located under the thermostat housing, the 115c refers to the temperature that the overheat warning light comes on at.
The fans will be controlled by a sender, probably screwed onto the radiator somewhere.
