Just fitted some led markers to the van then got bl- - dy soaked with the frgn rain

We were planning some roof cleaning but as it’s pouring as usual I’ve deep cleaned the inside.

I sorted out the sticking front brakes, might get away for a few days if I can find my snorkel and flippers

I finished my FIL's casket, his one wish was not to spend money on the extortionate costs of a funeral director, so the total cost for everything is about £650 (£550 for cremation).

He was a very sensible laddie!!

It has rained non stop for a couple of days, our back garden rises slightly away from the house and a few feet down we have a layer of clay so in heavy rainfall like this all of the water soaks through then collects at the bottom, we have put good drainage in place but in extreme weather we flood and there was 5 or 6 inches of water outside the back door until about 30 minutes ago, the rain is very light now so I can put the lifeboat away?

I didn’t mow the top lawn or mow the path through the land because of the rain, but I did take the safari room to the motorhome to get it out of the house where it’s been for at least 5 years! Only need to sell it now or buy an extra bit for the front because this vans awning is bigger than the 3.5m that the awning is.

Oh well, time for another wine
