How do I thread a rear camera wire through the rear wall of the van down to floor level passing it between the inner and outer wall of the van?

That rather depends on the structure of your van.
Personally, I'd not even try. I'd run it down the inside, then out through the floor.
The wire to my rear camera goes through a hole in the back panel at camera level, in the back of a locker. Then it runs inside the lockers through to the front of the van.
That's how a previous owner did it. I replaced the silicone sealant with something that would keep the damp out when I replaced the camera.

If you haven't already bought the kit, then I'd install a bluetooth reversing camera as it's less hassle.
If you've already bought the kit, then I'd run the cable underneath the floor of the van, inside a protective sheath.

I've just looked, and there's currently a large range of bluetooth/wireless reversing cameras on places like Amazon, eBay, Halfords, etc., and at hugely different prices.

When I looked on eBay they seem to be wireless rather than Bluetooth, there are ones that rely on your mobile phone for a monitor and then there were Bluetooth senders for normal cameras but I'll take another look thanks
.

My experience of the cheaper wireless reversing cameras is not good,I've had 2 on different vehicles and a neighbour had 1 non were good and connectivity was unreliable ,often showing interference on the screen.All were replaced with wired systems.I currently have 3 all cheap Chinese wired systems..single cameras on a van and a 4x4 double on MH(1 camera looking to rear 1 looking at tow ball/trailer) all 3 can be switched on when travelling forward or backward..to enable checking trailer/load

I would choose wired over wireless. Less to go wrong.
Having said that, the cable on mine did go wrong, so for a year or so I was using one of the other wires in the cable - an unscreened wire that wasn't being used.
It was not as crisp and clear, but still better than wireless!
I can't remember how much of the cable I had to replace to fix the problem, but it wasn't difficult.
I keep meaning to replace the camera, but it means balancing on top of a dry stone wall to reach it.
