Toilet bowl liners

An ex-boyfriend who is an engineer told me never to use tissues in place of toilet paper, unless a dire emergency. Toilet paper is designed to fall apart when wet whereas tissues are specifically designed to NOT fall apart when wet! Why not just line the bowl with toilet paper?
Glad you made him an ex as his info was wrong :)

I am also an Engineer so I am puzzled as to how he qualified as one with such a low IQ. :p

I have emptied the cassette many times for many years and have never seen any sign of the tissue. Note that I said "use a single ply", that involves separating one ply from the tissue. If you don't believe me, try blowing your nose into a single ply and see what happens. :ROFLMAO:

I remember when everyone used newspaper cut up into squares hung on a piece of string . In a freezing out side toilet 🙁

Yes, the 'good old days'. :)

It made you healthier to have a short walk and some fresh air before breakfast.

It was also before BBQ's were invented, so people used to eat indoors and crap outdoors. Now it is just the opposite. :(

Hmmm... "Fresh Air" .... the toilet in my Oma's (Grandmother) house in Germany was on the other end of the pigsty. That was a fun and refreshing journey. Not sure if fruhstuck was looked forward to that much after the short morning trip
