That's a very interesting one, Asterix!
I didn't get much further before I did what you expected.

I'm not a pheasant plucker

I'm only plucking pheasants
'cos the pheasant pluckers late

Cheers,

The version I know.
I´m not a pheasant plucker
I´m a pheasant pluckers son
and I´m only plucking pheasants
till the pheasant plucker comes.

Another
Old Granny Hunt
had a cuddy blunt,
not a cuddy blunt
but a hunt blunt cuddy

Very naughty when you try to say it quickly, so not in front of the children.

Thinking about it the first of your tongue twisters is the version I remember as a kid. Very similar to the version from exmusso.

The second is new to me and, as you warn, seriously dangerous.

Peter piper picked a pickled pepper,if peter piper picked a pickled pepper where did the pickled pepper go that peter piper picked.
Say this as fast as you can.

Polish it behind the door.
Try saying this fast.

Thanks,Trev. The first is one I remember from childhood. The second is totally new to me and saying either rapidly is really hard going!
Great examples of tongue twisters.

Your opener had me wondering what was to follow, Tes!

I hope you realise that we'll be expecting a demonstration at events. Of the tongue twister.

I didn't get far, Delicagirl. I plan to try that with the Grandchildren!

Colin ???

Try Red leather Yellow leather too:Thumbs_Up_Hand_Sign

Red lorry-Yellow lorry sounds very simple but try saying over a few times!

Betty bought a bit butter
But, she found the butter bitter
If I put it in my batter
It will make my batter bitter
But a bit of better butter
Would make my batter better.
So she bought a bit of butter
Better than her bitter butter
And she put it in her batter
And the batter was not bitter

I didn't get far with that one, either! I even tried slowly with a view to speeding up.
Oh well.
