Dec 21 purchased battery for my car by entering my car reg into AB search engine, battery purchased ( 3 year warranty) as recommended by AB search engine. Car : my Mitsu 1.8 DCi with stop/start facility.

Saturday battery failed, deed as a DoDo, gave it a charge, and managing to get Bea to and from her work, her merc is chit in icy conditions being auto and rear wheel drive. Hence her using my car.

Not long of phone with AB, appears to have been an issue with me having the incorrect battery at initial purchase, I explained I purchased in accordance with AB search engine recommendation. Scott the lad I was talking with said he would need to speak to his manager and get back to me, less than ten mins later, Scott returned my call and as a good will gesture, a new and recommended battery for my car will be sent to me soon!!

No fuss, a two way common sense telecon, and a good result for me.

Well Done Alpha Batteries, thank you and AB will be my first choice company for purchasing batteries for car or motorhome.

I see recommendations for other outfits all the time on the forums, but I only ever use them.

Edit: “No fuss, a two way common sense telecon, and a good result for me.”

I should have typed us, their gesture and no fuss means of dealing with my situation, will give AB future customer’s confidence buying from them.

Demi failed to start, called Green Flag, they confirmed dead battery.
Ordered a replacement from Alpha at 3.30 pm Friday afternoon. 7.30 am Saturday morning. Bang on the door from a courier.9.00 New battery installed. Including back ache. Great service from both Alpha and their courier.
I hold neither at fault for the back ache.

Great folks to deal with AND folks,I never hesitate to recommend to others .

Go to any A1 Motor Parts shop, they will do a test of your batteries for free, and they have a Hugh data base on what car manufacturers battery it should be.
