Hi I would like a towbar fitted to my Lunar .....Based on a Renault Master

A) Main reason to prevent damage caused by bottoming out
Ideally a conveyer belt 3in diameter Metal roller (0.75m long)would be fitted on the underside.

B) The towbar would also serve for me to be towed out backwards if stuck in mud

NO electrics needed so a welder type person/business would probably be best !

Can travel but lets say 100miles from Oxford OR Bristol area

Thanks

Terry I could travel to Edinburgh if you know someone who can base it on your installation

Tow bars aren't tough to fit - dedicated kits are available.
I can't see any roller and bearings being able to take a big impact - and when towbar grounds, it is a big impact! My old tow bar (and brackets) took some big hits and were fairly unscathed - but a roller on, mmmmmm, don't think that'd work

Why dont you go for Air Suspension if grounding at the rear is an issue ...I have the same problem my ground clearence is poor.. have thought about Air Suspension but cant make a decision ....

Air suspension does not protect the rear
It also does not allow for being towed out backwards
Air S also need to be inflated when needed for us (not all the time)
I have had a quote for £1000 No Thanks
Others say maybe £300 OK but....
