Travel insurance for people not the motorhome

As we are planning on resuming touring the Continent from January, I need to organise some travel health insurance.

Could I ask where any of you folks have got yours from if you have toured abroad this year?

I need 60 days per trip multi-trip cover.

I went with LV at £153. The next best was Saga at £206. LV cover for up to 90 days on any individual trip.

The Camping and Caravanning club always came out more expensive than the Caravan and Motorhome club. The Camping and Caravanning club no longer do any site bookings or rallies abroad. The CMC have taken over some of the rallies and bookings that the CCC used to do. I suspect their insurance for travel abroad will be more on the ball.

We have used ccc for ten years, when my wife had to have an emergency appendix operation in Torrevieja I could not fault them

I too have used the CCC and it was very competitively priced, but they are not doing travel insurance at the moment, as I asked.

My husband mid-seventies got a good deal with LV and up to 90 days travel even with pre-existing, before had been restricted to 31 with All-Clear

I'm not 71 but got multi trip 90 day from LV. Worth a first shout I reckon.

We worked out that it was cheaper to get a cool bank account which included European and UK breakdown cover, phone and travel insurance up to 79yrs . Costs £15 month fee but get cashback so reduced the fee. Must check length of trip but seem to remember it covered 90 days.

Which cool bank account would that be? We have a Nationwide account but lost the travel cover due to our age.
