We bought one of those 12v things, totally useless I think we binned it after first trying it out in the van.

I use a 32v Vax and it is very useful with its powered beater attachment, ideal for picking up half a dogful of fur at a time. We wouldn’t be without it as we are fully carpeted.

Love to vac the van at least 3/4 times a week when on road ..can not stand dirty floors.
