VE Day campout

The link I gave earlier had posters to download for printing, I have a photo of my MIL taken in 1945 when she drove ammunition trucks in London, I put a union flag on as a layer then added her photo as another layer, it will take pride of place tomorrow VE-Day-Poster-with Ivy.jpg

The cul-de-sac where I live is having a street party with afternoon tea. My van will be used as a ‘brew hut’ and everyone is contributing to the buffet table. We will be maintaining social distancing and sitting apart etc but a good community spirit is quite evident round here.

Very civilised, I assume all the cakes and scones were home made, how did they fare with the Corona.

I'm not hiding corona, it's a great beer. And cheap at the moment lol

Home made sandwiches;)

Lee I love that You chose VE day to come out. That’s a nice flag big boy😂😜

Linda had bought the flag and bunting and was going to use them.
I was tasked with putting them up, which was appreciated by everyone.
One of the neighbours said that it spurred others to follow suit.
We've had a great afternoon socialising with neighbours in thus lovely weather.
I hope you and the family are well.

Don’t think he understood your comment Wully!😂😂😂😂

I bought it at a garden sale couple of years ago and it represents a RAINBOW 🌈.... for the NHS.
