Yesterday, at the end of a 5hr drive thro’ rural france, decided to have a nice cold beer.
Only it wasn’t. Worse still all the frozen peas etc weren’t.
So, no error codes or warnings, and selecting max cold had no effect.
Gas flame was on - and staying on …....mmm a bit ominous.
A good look round the cooling coils revealed a nasty defect and stain indicating a coolant leak.
Funnily enough, earlier Lin said she smelled something off in the fridge. I thought it was just my nice ripe Roquefort.
The model is a Dometic Tectower absorption fridge and just wondering if there’s any possibility of repair
or sourcing a replacement of the cooling unit.
