Back in Cheshire its been a mixed day with rain and some dry spells, cranked up to 14° at one point.

Just in from a trip into Belfast, wife/daughter came back to car from shops like half drowned rats, serves them right, all for a t shirt, wemen are as made as a box of frogs.

Yes, heavy overnight rain in Cheshire as well, started sunny this morning but back to full cloud cover now, still mild at 12°, think its time to get some plants out of the greenhouse.

Wearing shorts means very little these days, Paul. So many of the good folk of East Sussex seem to wear shorts all year round, regardless of the weather. Me? I always stuff an anorak in my rucksack regardless of the weather 'cos I won't be caught out.

We see white legged tourists in shorts and teeshirts even when it's 4 degrees and blowing a damp hooley.
They can't all be Skandinavians, can they?

I'm a fully qualified Algarve Bunny.
If we have to go out in poor weather, we either put as many layers on, looking like Wombles, and take a hip flask of brandy with us.
