Weather Report..................

Left East Sussex in bright sunshine, and after spells of heavy rain along the road we arrived at a basic CL (£16/ night) near Newark, in bright sunshine again. 15 degs. The pub is closed because the landlord is poorly and so we're dining in tonight. ⛅🌧️⛅

It's a lovely day in Beamish. Superb weather bimbling up the Great North Road, dry, bright, and 14 degrees. ⛅☀️⛅

Arrived at the Black Horse PH and a meal booked for tonight. I must thank @Boris7 for the recommendation. It's changed slightly. You now pay £10/night per person to park up, which is 100% redeemable against the meal. So it's still free. 😀IMG20240912150049.jpg

27 ish, this morning
Nice northern breeze, until mid pm. Then it will really cook.
Management had her shopping look on. Busy morning on the cards.
Could be worse.

Rained all morning but cleared to leave some late sunshine and the promise of a dry day tomorrow. Westerly wind has subsided, touched 13° but dropping to 4° tonight ........

Cold start but as promised we being treated to some sunny intervals, gentle breeze and 14°. Perfect for getting outside jobs done before we head off at the end of next week, hopefully for some warmer weather.

Dreaful storms and flooding here in Thailand. People dead an vast areas under water .Streets in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai water waist high and raging torrents I judge we will be OK as there is a large flood plain (or basin) where we are. (Uttaradit).
The floods will move south and there will be floods after the river Nan confluences with the river PING (Chiang mai to Nakhon Sawan) and becomes the Chao Praya. Somewhat like the Ouse and Trent becoming the Humber
