What's worse is that we have damp here quite badly. We've got the back patio up to put a land drain in, but the chap who's doing it willn't work in the rain, so nothing has happened since Thursday.

Driving back down from Scotland it was a pleasure to see cones in the late evening with men actually working behind them so many times you drive past miles and miles of cones with nobody working .

We seem to have been really lucky up here in NE Scotland. Lovely day here today and we haven’t really seen any real rain for a few weeks. The odd damp day but nothing to prevent any outside work. I feel sorry for those affected by all the flooding further south.
