Weather Report..................

Morning..
From a rainy, Thunderstorm ridden Algarve
Fascinating to watch the birds pulling worms and slugs from the soft soil, after a baking Summer.

Then the local pair of Peregrine Falcons swoop down and feed on the smaller birds.
Nobody's complaining... except the golphers, para gliders, cycling and other sporting buffs.. Plus those poor souls who flew in, craving for some sunshine.
Are you ok Paul?

Are you ok Paul?

Worry not , Bill.
We think this lot is the tip of what caught Valencia and Malaga. It's coming from that direction. S.S.E. So it's fairly warm.
We're up in the hills, North of Vila Moura and the other resorts.
They used the seasonal river deltas, cheap land that was no use for farming, to build the resorts.
They'll have problems with what comes down, but have modern infrastructure and machines that earn their keep.
Malaga, etc is much the same.
Ventured out, during a lull.
Got absolutely soaked, before I got to the shops.
By the time I'd put it all away,
The clouds have lifted and it's calm and sunny.
That's why we rarely get an accurate forecast.
We hope you are both safe and comfortable..
Best wishes,
Paul and Jenny

Wild stormy night.
I'm told that there were thunderstorms.. .
19 degrees and calm, now.
Warnings of more storms to come.
Brandy at bedtime again.

As I write this, the clouds are moving in..
Looking ominous.
Might be unable to go shopping.
So not all bad news.

We've got unbroken grey clouds, after a surprisingly bright start.
Drizzle now and the prospect of thunderstorms to relieve the boredom.
That nice, warm S.E wind from Andalusia, has veered N.E. over the snowy Sierra Nevada.
Roll on Xmas !
