After a drizzly night and an hour's downpour, it's 16 degrees, blue overhead and slightly breezy.
We'd planned a farewell wake for an old friend, who went back to Huddersfield, to turn his toes up.
We hope to get away with it.
We sent some of our sheep off today to a farm on Eday (Orkney). Their sailing today was cancelled due to horrendous sea conditions and we have just been told tomorrow’s sailing is off as well. So at least 2 nights cooped up in a sheep wagon near Aberdeen Harbour! I pity all the people trying to get home for the festive period.
A day of two halves. The frosty start'will quickly turn into a dry bright day with a light SW breeze and 9 degrees. Sunset will bring a bout of prolonged heavy rain.
