Weather Report..................

about 9pm now...just been outside.......its a nice warm and still night.........so different from the day........good night for a pit fire............if it had been like this thru the day would have been abe to get all garden cutting etc burnt,
 
It's been a lovely day here in Herts.
Should winter ever arrive I may have to change the flip flops for plimsoles.
Possibly wear a T-shirt.

Bugger, I posted weather report in wrong thread by the looks of it so summary is cooler, very very wet and very very windy on my hill outside Buxton. At least it looks like I have been head on to the wind all night :)
 
Our hill in Pudsey fares no better, looks gloomy out there, off to Specsavers in a bit, 3rd time they are trying to get my glasses correct.

Well. I was returning from the Thames Estuary to Hertfordshire late this afternoon when the strangest thing happened on the M25.
This sort of, well, wet stuff fell on the windscreen. Could this be what Northerners call rain?
It was an interesting experience though I can't really say that I want too much more of it.
I even had to use the windscreen wiper-thingys.

No Colin, if was rain you wouldn’t need your wipers, it comes down that heavy it is self clearing :)
 
Good morning camper, hi de hi!!!!

Well it’s 8 degrees in Buxton this morning, mainly high cloud with odd bits where sun pokes through.

Overnight it was very windy again and heavy rain, got me thinking it’s a good job Caz is deaf or it would put the brakes on full timing if she had heard it ha ha
