Weather Report..................

Well not opened curtains yet to check but watch says we will reach a high of 11 degrees in Buxton, bet its warmer at Hollingworth Lake this evening though :)

Will be suitably late for work now so will just make an americano then get a shower and get ready :)

There is NO excuse for wearing long trousers, you should now better at your age :)

When you're a State Registered Softy, like me, living in Paradise, for half the year... ( Mind you, this could all change).. You become sensitive to temperature below 16 degrees..
In Derbyshire, you rarely reach that, and your limbs are permanently numbed by the cold.
It was a lovely 23 degrees, this sunny morning. I did my morning exercises outside, wearing little more than a smile... ( it keeps the goats away. ). The forecast was for unbroken sunshine again. It's now 14, grey clouds.
I've put on socks, trakkie bottom, and a polo neck.

Ha ha ha ha, you need to watch those goats in your birthday suit, they will eat anything :)
.

On a cold morning, I'm safe...
They can't eat what they can't see. Looking dead dodgy for the weekend.. Between two and three inches of rain forecast.

I think we'll take the van down the lane, parking on the market field hard standing.. Just in case the lane gets washed away.

The rain was joined by plenty of lightning and thunder last evening here just south of Valencia.
And it was so chuffed with it's performance that it continued throughout the night with rain hammering on the roof.
I sat and watched the flashes from the Moho and the location on a lightning tracking site. It was fascinating.
Now the rain has eased off to a torrential downpour.
So that's an improvement, then.

Colin ???

It’s a grey but dry morning at Hollingworth Lake this morning and watch says 12 degrees but not yet ventured out. Misty keeps lifting her head and looking over though so won’t be too long
