Weather Report..................

I've now moved east from Devon into Hampshire where the weather is very pleasant indeed:

This is the New Forest and just out of frame to the left are several freely roaming mare ponies with this year's foals.
There's lots of family cycling groups pottering around the forest right now.

Another forecast for unbroken sunshine all day. 36 degrees

Awoke to low, misty clouds and a sticky, windless 24 degrees.

No need to open the parasol, over the breakfast table.

May have to open it soon..

We have the lightest of hazy drizzle..

A clear sky to start the day here in the New Forest with a dew on the grass.
I pottered around the lanes to the south and east of Lymington this morning, seeing the flora, fauna, coastline and rivers under pretty much perfect conditions:

Lovely pix, Colin.

Do try to avoid getting caught up in bad company.
I understand there's a whole mob of travelling types invading the forest .
Your best bet is to get on your bike early, before they come round ..
Stay out until they get comatose .. usually by tea time

That's absolutely amazing, Paul.
How on earth did you anticipate the type of invader and their drinking predilection?
Oh, and they were under the yard arm before tea time as far as I could tell. It's a tough call because they actually aren't sober for very long at all once breakfast is behind them.
They would want you to know that they're having a great time hereabouts and often reflect on similar experiences in your company.

It's 23°C at 0830 here in the New Forest. I haven't seen such a warm start to the day for quite a while.
The sky is uniformly blue and there's a warm breeze gently flapping flags above some of the mohos.
Should I go explore the forest?

Oh, alright, if you insist.
