After yesterday's deluge, followed by heavy overnight rain, today has turned out dry and bright, with a blue sky and 11°.

After a chilly night with temperatures just above freezing, it'll quickly develop into a beautiful day with blue skies and a high of 18°.

Overnight wind and rain in Northumberland, slowly starting to clear with the promise of some sunny intervals. Currently 9° but feels like 5° or less in the wind.

A chilly 12 degrees in the north frontage.
Unbroken sunshine, but northerlies, dropping the temperature.
South facing, sheltered terraces are making it a pleasant 22 degrees.
But shorter days are going to drive us into indoors, soon..
