Yesterday afternoon the rain was exceptionally heavy and as we had to be out and about we encountered lots of flooded roads. It’s dry for now and 13 degrees but more rain expected. 🌧

I'm ashamed to admit it after reading earlier posts, but we've had a magnificent warm day with a bright blue sky.

It's still a wall to wall blue sky at 5.20pm, but slowly growing cooler.

Forecast was for unbroken heavy drizzle all day, from 7.30..
Lovely calm clear dawn, no winds to bring any sudden change
We were cooking breakfast outside, having put it all away, last night, no wind, no looming clouds then ... Whoosh !
Got soaked connecting up of course...
Rain stopped after about 30 minutes.
Still looking grey and ominous. The Weather Wizards insist that's it's hurling it down.
What a welcome change to have a generous slug of coffee in my brandy. It's been 7 months since the last one.
I'd forgotten the recipe.
