Weather Report..................

Forecast was for unbroken heavy drizzle all day, from 7.30..
Lovely calm clear dawn, no winds to bring any sudden change
We were cooking breakfast outside, having put it all away, last night, no wind, no looming clouds then ... Whoosh !
Got soaked connecting up of course...
Rain stopped after about 30 minutes.
Still looking grey and ominous. The Weather Wizards insist that's it's hurling it down.
What a welcome change to have a generous slug of coffee in my brandy. It's been 7 months since the last one.
I'd forgotten the recipe.

We're forecast rain throughout the morning with a high of 14°.

This afternoon the rain will stop, which is handy as we're at the ENO this evening.

A misty start here in west Wales but that means no rain....yet!

It is forecast for showers across the whole day though!

is it summer yet?

9 degrees and light rain. Much the same expected all day. 🌧🌧🌧
Not that much different here.
Squally rain drifting in from the SW .
Gusts up to 33 Mph. Warm though, 20 degrees.. Only 8 expected at dawn, tomorrow.
Saved us the problem of when to pick the olives.. Most of them are on the terrace under the tree.
Wet day timetable.
May have to visit the sock drawer and find a raincoat.

We've a yellow weather warning.

'Heavy rainfall and squally winds may bring some localised flooding. Bus and train services probably affected. Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely.'

Not the best day for our Son to expect the patio layers to start on the job then.?

Squalls abated,
Drizzle eased off, but still around.
Water cisterns 70% full.
Forecast of 8 ° at dawn was 12° pessimistic.. Opened all the a available doors and windows, overnight.
Should go and rescue the olive crop that blew off .
But ... As I type.......
Another misty squall is blowing in along the valley.
I'll be closing all the Velux skylights..
