After a light overnight frost it has turned into an absolutely cracking day.

Strange day.
Forecast drizzle from the East... With a yellow rain alert for the rest of the week. But only 1.2mm of rainfall in over the 24 hours.
24 pitters & 25 patters at noon, as our guest set off for a walk in the hills.
Tidied all the parasols and garden furniture away.
Lunch on the Mezzanine. Watching 4 layers of clouds moving in random directions.. like bumper cars, at a fair.
Dashed inside as the sky turned black and the temperature fell from 16 to 8.
Indoors, now, heating on.
Lovely sunny day outside.

Looks like it’s overcast but dry in sunny Blackpool today.

Not a trace of cloud, not a breath of wind, and wall to wall blue skies. The perfect winter's day all day.

7 degrees and sun peeping out from black cloud, High of 8 degrees from behind white cloud, and then 6 degrees and 7 degrees from behind white and grey cloud. Ni point the sun having his hat on today, unless it's to tell friends at the door that he's just got back in, or to tell people who are not welcome that he can't stop, because he's just going out ...

7 degrees, rising to 8 degrees as the sun peeks out from behind the cloud, dropping to 7 degrees as the clouds retaliate and block the sun

Any lingering patches of overnight cloud have already disappeared and it'll be a bright sunny day where the temperature will hit 10 degrees.

The confident forecast was for no more rain after 9pm, following a drizzly day.
A thunderclap and 2 hours torrential rain, at midnight.
Just brightened up at 9am.
Tavira beckons, if we can get the car down the lane....

Surprisingly little damage to the lane.. Tavira, 8 miles to our East, has had very little rainfall.
