We've already got another band of heavy rain sweeping in from the south west, and this time it's falling on saturated ground.

We've a 12 degree high, but that's of no consequence compared to our amber weather warning regarding the local flooding and inevitable travel disruption.

Lewes bonfire society marches tonight in commemoration of the 16thC martyrs burned at the stake. I wonder who's effigy they are burning, and whether it'll stay alight.
