It may only be 5 degrees, but we had a breathtaking red sunrise this morning.

Unlike the old mariners saying, it's going to be a lovely dry, bright day, with a light westerly breeze. Off out for a walk.

A breezy 12 degrees and should remain mainly dry. This is good because neither of us is well enough to clean the van now, so today a valeter is coming to do it for us.

Breezy and bright (ish) this morning, up to 12° with possible showers this afternoon. Most of the leaves are now off the trees but our apple trees are still clinging on to theirs.

Many of the oak trees around us still have a fair percentage of leaves clinging on, but the next wet and windy day should finally bring them down.

Today it's bright in East Sussex, with light cloud and sunny intervals. We've a light westerley breeze and 12 degree high.

Forgot socks, as I'd only worn them once, a fortnight ago

I think I've just had payback Paul, ...... 2 hour power cut tonight following high winds bringing down an HV line, we're lucky, neighbours up the road won't be back on until after midnight ........ and then we are looking at snow and sub zero overnight next week ...... crazy weather it was 17° at one point this afternoon.
